Eleni Verikaki BDS MSc FRCD
Paediatric Dentist
Eleni graduated with a Merit from Athens University in 1998 and then went on to work in private practice, limited to paediatric dentistry,
for a further two years. In 2000, Eleni gained a Merit in MSc in
Paediatric Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute and won the first
prize for the research project. In the same year, she became a
Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada (Paediatric
Dentistry).
She currently works as the Senior Dental Officer in Paediatric Dentistry at the Community Dental Service at Harrow PCT where
referred patients were medically compromised, uncooperative and in
need of sedation or required complicated and extensive dental treatment.
Eleni is also the lead clinician responsible for paediatric dental general anaesthetic at Northwick Park Hospital. Since 2004 she has
been working as a part time clinical lecturer in the paediatric
dentistry department at Guys and Kings Dental Institute where she is
involved with teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
She has presented at the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry
annual meeting and has written publications for Paediatric Dental
Journal. She is an active member of the British Society of Paediatric
Dentistry and the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry. |
